| Breaking News |  | Tuesday, August 20th, 2019: Rodents Woods to Miss 1-2 Weeks Joe Woods of the San Francisco Rodents could be headed for the disabled list after suffering a tender shoulder in a game against the Sacramento Thunderjets. He is expected to miss at least 1-2 weeks. The San Francisco reliever was injured throwing a pitch. Woods said, "Right now I am pretty sore and I don't feel very good at all."
In 2019 Woods has 53 relief appearances, saving 1. His record is 2-4 with 38 strikeouts in 56.2 innings and a 3.02 ERA. |  | Sunday, August 18th, 2019: Samuels Hurls San Francisco to Shutout Win Willis Samuels of the San Francisco Rodents shut out the San Diego Corals 6-0, stopped them on 1 hit and had 9 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing.
After the game his manager said, "He just came out and was on the attack from the first pitch he threw. When Willis stays ahead in the count, he does well. That's the key."
His record in 2019 is 13-6 in 25 starts and Samuels has a 2.36 ERA. |  | Friday, August 9th, 2019: DTD Injury Puts Olivas Out of Lineup Rodents star catcher Alfredo Olivas may be sitting it out a few days after he picked up an injury in yesterday's game against the Staten Island Wombats. He sustained a strained achilles tendon while running the bases. Olivas isn't expected to miss a lot of time. However, doctors want to be cautious. They said he would be day-to-day for about one week.
