| Breaking News | | Saturday, August 24th, 2019: Arnold Wins Round 2!
The celebrations have begun. The streets are alive with people and the confetti is flying. The Arnold Saints have done it -- they won the 2019 Round 2. The Saints defeated the St. Louis Oaks 5-1 at Arnold Fields to take the title. Arnold took the series 4-1 for their 1st FBL Short Season A championship.
After the game, the victorious Saints manager told the secret to his team's great season and Round 2 triumph, "The harder you work, the luckier you get," he said. "As far as I'm concerned, I'm the luckiest guy in the world today."
The new champions finished first in the regular season with a 30-24 record in the Sub League 2 Division 2.

 | Thursday, August 1st, 2019: Arnold's Argente SL2 Top Pitcher
Tony Argente will be bringing July's Sub League 2 Pitcher of the Month trophy home to Arnold. He excelled all month long as he kept opposing hitters guessing, reaching and hoping.
Argente started 7 games, going 5-2 with 29 strikeouts in 52 innings as he compiled his 3.63 ERA.
To date this year in 10 starts, Argente has crafted a 6-3 mark with a 3.95 ERA.

 | Monday, July 15th, 2019: Barrage of Hits Gets Lian SL2 Award
Today the Sub League 2 announced the Player of the Week Award. This week's honoree is Arnold's talented first baseman Cheng-qian Lian. When he steps into the batter's box, it's usually a bad omen for pitchers.
For the week Lian batted .591 (13-22) with 2 home runs and 14 RBIs.
This year Lian is batting .368 with 2 home runs.
