Jeffrey LeBlanc had a spectacular year for Fort Riley North in 2019, putting up 7 wins for the Garrison to walk away with the Sub League 1 Outstanding Pitcher Award trophy.
He finished the season with a 7-3 mark, 45 strikeouts and a 3.21 ERA. In 15 starts LeBlanc surrendered 90 hits and 24 walks in 87 innings on the mound.
This weekend he will be honored by the SION Baseball Writers Association at its annual awards dinner.

The Sub League 1 has selected Tony Roberts of the Fort Riley North Garrison as Player of the Week.
He hit .650 (13-20) this past week collecting 4 RBIs, scored 6 runs and 1 home run.
This year Roberts has hit 6 home runs and posted a .340 batting average.

Fort Riley North catcher Tony Roberts could do no wrong as he collected 5 hits against Deshler, but he couldn't win the game. "It's a shame we didn't win. It would have been a very special day if that had happened. But it didn't. At least my batting average didn't take a plunge, too," he said. The Garrison were beaten 8-7 at Ballpark of Fort Riley North by the Jazz.
"In every one of his at-bats, things were in his favor...he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Jazz said to the press corps after the game.
Roberts agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready."
T. Roberts hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Q. Johnson in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
In the current season, Roberts has put up a .344 batting average with 98 hits, 6 home runs, 47 RBIs and scored 40 times.
