| Breaking News |  | Friday, September 6th, 2019: Santiago Ocampo Out for 4 Weeks
After the end of today's game between Sacramento and Brooklyn, Santiago Ocampo skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing the ball, the Thunderjets had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The third baseman will miss at least 4 weeks with a strained bicep muscle.
During the 2019 season Ocampo has hit .295 with 29 home runs and 110 RBIs. He has played in 132 games and scored 84 times.

| Thursday, September 5th, 2019: Ocampo Belts 3 HR Against Brooklyn!
Santiago Ocampo showed some power today as he launched three balls into the seats against the Brooklyn Pioneers and sparked the Thunderjets to a 10-1 victory.
For the day he collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 5 RBIs.
In the postgame press conference he told the reporters, "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good. I always have liked to hit here at Ballpark of Sacramento."
"He was instant offense today," the Sacramento skipper said. "Santiago really put on a show."
S. Ocampo flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off B. Brown in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off B. Brown in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off I. Villanueva in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
This year Ocampo is hitting .296 with 29 home runs.

 | Sunday, September 1st, 2019: SL1's Top Hitter Named
The most recent Sub League 1 Batter of the Month trophy was awarded to first baseman Tom Easter of the Sacramento Thunderjets.
In August he stood head and shoulders above all other batters by hitting .412 with 10 home runs, 34 RBIs and 24 runs scored.
This year Easter has socked 161 hits in 516 at-bats for a .312 average with 32 home runs. He is getting on base at a .368 pace and his totals also include 133 RBIs and 104 runs scored.
