| Breaking News |  | Thursday, August 15th, 2019: Lee Has Nagging Injury, Listed DTD
Loren Lee, Gazelles standout reliever, will be sidelined for a while due to a strained back muscle. He was injured while throwing a pitch in yesterday's game against the Crew. Lee called it "a day-to-day thing" and said he hoped to be back in action soon.
This year Lee has 20 relief appearances, saving 1. His record is 2-1 with 13 strikeouts in 36.1 innings and a 0.50 ERA.

Carlos Vázquez of the Arlington Gazelles had an enormous week at the plate and today was voted the Player of the Week by the Sub League 2.
For the week Vázquez batted .520 (13-25) with 1 home run and 4 RBIs.
Presently Vázquez is batting .285 with 2 home runs and 26 RBIs. He has played in 47 games and scored 22 times.

This week's Player of the Week was Lewis Gamble of the Arlington Gazelles.
His big bat belted and blasted Sub League 2 pitching for 13 hits in 24 at-bats, 1 home run, and 6 RBIs while hitting .542 and scoring 5 runs.
Thus far this year Gamble has hit .319 with 2 home runs and 21 RBIs.
