Allegedly, Arthur Caine has asked to be traded from Saint Charles. It is rumored that he is unhappy with fans and the team management and that maybe the pressure and demands of playing here are too great.

Monday, August 5th, 2019: Saint Charles First Baseman Nets SL2 Award
This week's premier performer in the Sub League 2 was first baseman Carlos Márquez of the Saint Charles Daggers.

He banged out a .444 average and was voted the Player of the Week. Over the last week Márquez socked 12 hits in 27 at-bats and 3 home runs, drove in 7 runs and scored 8 times.

So far this season Márquez is hitting .340 with 15 home runs, 51 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 98 hits in 288 at-bats and a .424 OBP.

Thursday, August 1st, 2019: Super Month Nets Márquez #1 Batter Prize in SL2
Hot-hitting first baseman Carlos Márquez of the Daggers really pounded Sub League 2 pitchers in July, winning the Batter of the Month award.

He hit .364 with 13 home runs, 30 RBIs, 28 runs scored and 15 walks to finish with a .466 on-base percentage.

Márquez on the season is batting .339 with 15 home runs. His totals include 50 RBIs and 50 runs scored. He has played in 72 games.
