Which Sub League 2 hurler dominated in the month of June?
According to the voters who decide the Sub League 2 Pitcher of the Month award, it was Cisco Flores of the Plano Crew.
He put together a record of 5-0 with an ERA of 1.83 in 5 starting assignments. In addition, he struck out 26 in 34.1 innings.
So far this year Flores has compiled a 10-2 record with a 2.67 ERA.

Plano rode the magical arm of Ty Harper in a 5-0 shutout win over Stockton. He shackled them on 5 hits and fanned 3. Almost to a man, the Stockton Angelfish said he had them guessing wrong all game long.
In 2019 Harper has compiled a 5-9 mark with a 5.51 ERA in 16 starts. In pitching 94.2 innings he has 30 strikeouts and 31 walks while limiting the opposition to a .317 batting average.

 | Thursday, June 13th, 2019: Hughes Sits out with Day-to-Day Injury
Steve Hughes, the talented Plano star, suffered a damaged meniscus yesterday in the game with the Golden Nuggets, which could keep him out of today's lineup. "I'm a bit banged up," said the 25-year-old reliever, "but we won't know until game time if I can play or not." Hughes got hurt while throwing a pitch. The team doctor said he could be out up to 2 weeks.
In 2019 Hughes has delivered 0 saves in 2 relief appearances. He has 48 strikeouts in 68 innings with a 3.44 ERA and a 5-2 mark.
