 | Tuesday, July 30th, 2019: Tucson Deals Edwards to San Diego for Jenkins The Tucson Knights have finalized a deal with the San Diego Corals for the services of 25-year old reliever Chad Jenkins. In exchange, the Corals will receive 36-year old first baseman Eric Edwards. This season Edwards is hitting .251 with 79 hits, 15 home runs, 43 RBIs, scored 49 runs and played in 98 games. To date this year Jenkins has fashioned a 3.86 ERA over 42 innings with a 3-4 record. He has made 34 relief appearances with 24 strikeouts and no saves. |
