 | Sunday, July 28th, 2019: San Francisco and San Diego Agree to Trade The rumor has been going on for a while now, but today it was made official. The San Francisco Rodents sent 27-year old second baseman José Aguilar and 20-year old minor league shortstop Emesto Pierleoni to the San Diego Corals for 25-year old reliever Tu-fu Tien. Officials from both teams seem to be pleased with the deal. Aguilar has collected 81 hits for the Corals this year, 3 of them home runs. He has also netted 40 RBIs and scored 32 runs while batting .264. This year Tien has chalked up a 3.11 ERA with no saves. In 48 relief appearances he has put up a 5-2 won-lost mark and struck out 44 batters in 66.2 innings. |
