 | Thursday, July 25th, 2019: González and Muńóz Swapped Officials for the San Jose Sting Rays confirmed that they have traded 23-year old reliever Júlio González to the Mesa Rail Cats. In return, the Sting Rays will receive 23-year old minor league starting pitcher Mario Muńóz. To this point in the season, González has put up these figures: 2-1 record, 20 relief appearances with 28 innings, no saves, 27 strikeouts, 14 walks and a 1.93 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .198 batting average. |
