 | Tuesday, July 9th, 2019: Sounds Trade Banks to Sting Rays for McPhorich The Nashville Sounds have finalized a deal with the San Jose Sting Rays for the services of 21-year old minor league starting pitcher Floyd McPhorich. In exchange, the Sting Rays will receive 28-year old starting pitcher Brian Banks. Up to now Banks has compiled an ERA of 5.63 with a 3-13 mark over 19 starts. He has 70 strikeouts in 110.1 innings and has held opponents to a .297 batting average. |
